About Me

I’m a Brooklyn-based, New Orleans-raised, Austin-educated, New York-humbled and Paris-cultured multimedia journalist, photographer, and video producer.

(I also spent some time in Los Angeles.  Let’s say I learned patience there.)

I am a Magnum Foundation fellow whose work has appeared with NBC News, MSNBC, FusionGlobal Post, City & State, Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, City Limits, Voices of New York, and Open City.

I received a Masters degree from the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism, focusing on photography and international affairs, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in film production.
